Students from KS4 and Post 16 have undertaken completeing their Bronze Due of Edinborough award.  They began the prepartion for this in September-December, looking at reading maps, routes, equipment etc.  This was then delayed due to lockdown. Upon the return to school/college in March they then undertoook practice walks and a final assessment walk over two days.  One each of these days the students walked around 10km a day, which for some of the non independent students was a great acheievement! 

These students came back and spoke so highly of the experienced it has encouraged others for next year.  Some of these students also began to do little walks in playground at  lunch in preparing others which was great!
