Part of our COP26 awareness our Post 16 school council and staff orgnaised to take part in the Giant Walk to School. This was promoted in our monthly newsletter and a letter home. The school council distributed the relevant leaves on the day to their classmates accordingly to how they travelled.  This was a resource provided by LBE School Travel Team.  The outcome was dispalyed on our travel board. There was not quite the increase we had hoped for in walking, but a percentage of parents did use the bus/train with their young people insead of drivng. The big difference was staff who all made an attempt to make part or there journey more active. This included staff walking from the station rather than getting the bus and those further a field leaving their car at the other site ofthe school and walking up to set an example for the students.
