As we now have our bikes and scooters, we have been encouraging the staff to use them during playtimes and lunchtimes. We have bike tracks in Nursery, reception and year 1 and we are currently awaiting a track for the year 2 playground. We are asking staff to talk about being safe on the track, thinking about speed and being aware of others around us just like they would on a pavement outside of school. We also try to encourage children and staff to walk or scooter/cycle to school through our activities throughout the year, this is from Nursery all the way up to Year 2.
