To try and encourage families to continue to travel in active ways over the half term break, we used Cookie and Candy to 'advertise' how active they were being.  Pictures were put on the school Facebook page of Cookie and Candy travelling to different places by either walking or scooting and asking families to comment on any active journeys they had made.  This also had an added benefit in that more children have returned to school after the half term break and written a request to be added to the Weekend Walkies Wheel, so that they have the opportunity to take Cookie or Candy home for the weekend.
