Preparing for the trip ot The Tower of London provided an excellent opportunity to talk with the children about safety whilst using trains.  Teachers spent lesson time making sure that all the children knew the route they were taking and knew how to stay safe whilst using train stations, moving through and waiting on the platforms, boarding and alighting trains.  Many children had some experience of travelling by train but there were some who had not travelled into London before.
