Our school has a partnership with Sports for Champions UK Partnership and on Monday 13th June 2022, Courntey Tulloch (Commonwealth Gymnastics Champion) came into our school to host an assembly and complete a circuit with the children. Prior to his visit, the children were challenged to raise money by completing sponsered challenges such as running, walking, cycling etc. Then, depending on how much they had raised they were given a gift by Courtney. 

The children also participated in an assembly whereby Courtney inspired the children and spoke about fond memories that he had from his childhood where he engaged in as much physical activity as possible (he even referenced walking to school). The children then went onto participating in a 7 minute HIT circuit whereby they completed various physical challenges. All of the adults and the children had a fantastic day and cannot wait until next time!
