Road safety talks
Maryland Primary School
London Borough of Newham
Our story
We had an assembly visitor and it was great fun. She showed us how to stay safe. I learnt that there are different types of traffic and each one can be dangerous. She also gave us a special sticker to help to keep us safe. It is called a reflector. When the light from a car shines on the reflector it helps us to be seen and to stay safe. I know it is important to stop, look and listen and to let traffic pass. I know it is important to find a safe place to crosss the road and to follow the 'Green Cross Code'.
