Our story
I was a parent volunteer for the walking trip to Magpie Park. I had a wonderful time working as part of a team. The teacher put all the children in groups. We all worn high vis jackets and we had a leader for each group. The teacher gave us a briefing about safety and remined as to always remember to stay with our groups and to ensure the children were not close to the kerb or on the outside of the group. We have a wonderful safe walking trip, At the park were explored carefully and we collected some samples to explore when we returned to school. The children were respectful and careful and the clear instructions seemed to really help.
