Our Head met with the police to discuss the safety of children on trips. She then met with the senior leadership team to discuss how the staff and children with be briefed and how to best keep them safe. As a result of these consultations, a new staff update with given to all staff. It was decided that training and reminders are a crucial part of keeping staff and children safe. All staff MUST wear hi-vis jackets as notified in the briefing earlier this term.  All staff and children are now aware of the important role the police take in keeping us safe and why we must all listen to instructions and following safety guidelines. All trips have how positive outcomes and all children have returned to school safe and unharmed.
