Local community involvement
Our story
The JTA alway talk to the teachers and pupils and ask them to provide stories and photographs of their activities, visits and active school events. The JTA remind the children during assemblies to keep the evidence so we can use it to remind other children and staff to be an active school. The JTA speak to the ICT coordinator to ensure she uploads images to the school website, social media and school newsletters. Maryland gets a teatime treat! 10 lucky pupils were invited by School Home Support (charity) and Mrs Kor (our Family Support Worker) to a right royal teatime treat at the Radisson Blu hotel on Tuesday 2nd April. They were invited to meet staff from Transport For London. The children had a fantastic time and were the talk of the school the next day.
