All staff at Maryland work together and share ideas and opportunities to promote enrichment and great life opportunities. We also work with charities, outreach and TFL. 10 children and two members of staff used TFL and arranged the use of public transport. As shown in our newsletter: "Maryland gets a teatime treat! 10 lucky pupils were invited by School Home Support (charity) and Mrs Kor (our Family Support Worker) to a right royal teatime treat at the Radisson Blu hotel on Tuesday 2nd April. They were invited to meet staff from Transport For London. The children had a fantastic time and were the talk of the school the next day." It was a great opportunitiy for staff to work together to arrange staff to attend the event and ensure the children had a wonderful time walking to the DLR and then using the DLR.
