ONGOING ; We walk on many school trips to local places. This gives time for road safety education and increasing activity.

We walk to : St John's Church. Monday 7th March 

The children at Maryland Primary school love to make use of their local environment to enhance their learning and understanding. The children need to be healthy and safe at all times. Planning and implementing visits give them to opportunity to demonstrate their undersanding of road safety and increase they physical activities.

Year 2 prepared for their trip to St John's Church by excercising daily. Year 2 walked to the church and had a wonderful, entertaining and memorable time. The church explored the church and found out about the history of the church. The children explored the resources in the church.
