The Big Walk and Wheel was launcehed with an assembly for the whole school inviting the whole school community to participate. A letter was sent to parents and reminders in the school newsletter from the head and supported  advert from SUSTRANS . The School council and ECO team members man the school gates every morning handing out tickets ( walk, cycle or scooter) to every child that has used a sustainable method of transport to arrive at school . A reminder went out again in the school newsletter on the Friday at the end of the first week to update parents on how well we were doing and to challenge them to increase our percentage for the second week!
