On the week commencing 26/6 our Geography lead led a whoole school assembly on the environment and World Environemt Day (This had been on 5/6 but timetabling pushed plans back to this week). The children thought about their local area and what positive changes they can make. On Wednesday morining we had an Eco morning where each year group chose age appropriate texts which focused on on the environment. The children designed inventions, made posters and discussed what positive changes they can make, starting from today. On Wednesaday afternoon the children presented their ideas in another whole school assembly and posters were put around school grounds.
