As part of our Healthy Activity Week we promoted a walk to school week. Children were encouraged to walk, scoot or bike to school. We shared the the Living streets resources with class teachers and set targets in phase assemblies. Class teachers raised awareness and highlighted teachers that also walk/ride a bike to school to identify role models. We looked at maps of the local area and used mapping in Geography to work out routes to school.
