Another great way to get information out would be to create a noticeboard, or partition an existing noticeboard with some travel information. This can be managed by your Eco Team and they can add all sorts of interesting information from helpful calendar or events ie scooter training etc one these dates this term to anti idling facts and myths and if this can be displayed where parents/carers linger then all the better so they are fed the information. They can keep it bright and circulate the information so it’s always interesting. A photo of this would suffice. You can also perhaps add the STP to the website and perhaps have a travel webpage listing active ways to come to school, route planners like walkit.com so fine quiet and less polluted walking routes and again a calendar of events for each term that parents/carers can refer to.
