Our Year Six pupils attended the Junior Citizenship Training Day run by the Safety Education Department of Richmond Borough Council on Friday 30th September at Bushy Park Sports Club in Teddington. They undertook a wide range of safety training.

The day was aimed at raising pupil awareness of aspects of safety education through a number of practical scenarios. Water safety, internet safety and safety in the home and on buses and trains were just a few of the areas covered. The children worked collaboratively in groups and were encouraged to think about the safe and right choices to make in a variety of situations.
