At the Vineyard School this week the Assistant Headteacher gave an assembly on Road Safety to all children in Year 1 through to Year 6. 

The parents were also sent the slides so they could discuss what they had learnt in school in both assembly and in class. 

The children were asked 'how to keep safe when travelling by car, bus, cycling, walking'. They discussed in talk partners their ideas and then shared as a whole year group in the assemblies. 

The assemblies were differentiated betwen key stage 1 and key stage 2.
