Pupil Parliament
Our story
On Tuesday 15th October, two pupils from Year 5 went to the Richmond Borough Pupil Parliament to stand in for Cara and Sean H from Year 6 who were away in France. We had to perform their speeches and judge how good other pupils' speeches were. There were 62 pupils in total, 2 from every school in the Borough.
We had some time to think about how to present Cara and Sean's speeches. When it came to Daragh's turn, he felt really scared but he was great! After break, Minnie had to perform Cara's speech and she was amazing!
Madame Mayor of Richmond was there and she was really funny. We got to ask her questions about being Mayor.
In conclusion the day was really fun and we recommend it a lot. The location (York House) was very very fancy!
