The Sports Department organised the school's participation in The Big Pedal, in order to encourage students to cycle to school, and avoid public transport and car journeys. The student representatives visited each class to do a presentation on the benefits of cycling. All primary and secondary school students were invited and encouraged to take part in this challenge, and the school finished the week ranked 2nd on the regional leaderboard and 5th on the national leaderboard.
