Road Safety Week
Our story
Harrodian Prep School Year 3 pupils ran a competition to see who could design the best poster in support of the '20 is Plenty' campaign, which aims to promote road safety. The objective of this (on-going) campaign is for 20mph to become the default speed limit in residential and urban streets, all over the UK.
The posters designed by the children were really creative and illustrated just how well pupils had understood the purpose and message of the campaign – to raise awareness and encourage communities to change their behaviour- for the long-term - i.e. to drive slower in residential streets where people walk and cycle.
Well done to all the Year 3 pupils! Especially the finalists (see attached file) and above all - Myla who’s poster was selected as Winner! (click to see Myla's poster).
