The school petitioned with the council to change the road markings on Western Road and Tate Road to reduce the flow and speed of traffic travleling on the mian road outside Homefield School. The case was opened in 2019 and finally successful in 2021. This has reduced the speed the cars travel down on the road and reducsed the risk or traffic and children being harmed in the busy drop off and collection runs of the school day.
