Clean Air Day 2023
Our story
On 15th June 2023, our school took part in Clean Air Day. We downloaded the resources from the website. An email was sent to all teaching staff to give them the opportunity use them on the day and over the term. Year 1 and 4 used the 'My Clean Air Superhero', we have selected some winners and they have recieved a slap band. Our JTA's were on the school gates at the end of the day giving out stickers, to all our children and their families. The JTA's set themselves with some colouring and wordsearches (resource from the website) at lunchtime to speak to the children. they had attended the Air Pollution day the previous week at Charlton House. We advertised Clean Air Day on our newletter the previous week to make our communiy aware. Moving forward we will now be measuring our school site on a termly basis, as our children live in a inner city area - very close to the South Circular road.<
