As previously mentioned, Alec Reed Academy are striving to become a healthier, greener and more active school for both staff, children and parents. Whilst encoruaging children to become more active travel aware, we have encouaged them to enjoy a healthy lifestyle by being more active and aware of their environment. The Healthy schools london award has lots over lapping ways in which we an encoropate active travel into the scheme.
