At Branfil we are committed to and value the pupil voice. We encourage the children to share their ideas, voice their opinions and ask questions.  I am pleased to announce that this half term, we are launching the Branfil School Parliament. This week is UK Parliament Week for Schools and the children will be learning more about democracy in their class assemblies. They will also be introduced to our new parliament and over the next few weeks in addition to the groups already established, five committees will be elected, including JTAs and Eco-council.

Children and parents have been informed by newletter, social media, and in school assembilies and lessons about the School Parliament.  The JTA programme has been given time within the curriculum (once it is fully established) to have a key contribution.
