The havering walk zone project involved our JTAs leading on the development and promotion of a Wlaking Zone Map.  The map was plotted by pupils using stopwatches and maps to identify a 5-10 minute zone around the school.  This was then sent to a designer to create a colourful easy to read map of the local area.  JTAs planned an assembly to highlight to their peers and the wider school community the importance of walking to school and parking outside of the walking zones if they really must drive to school.  The map also displayed low pollution routes.
