On Thursday 14th November 2019 we had a Dr Bike session in our school. We arranged the session with the cycle training scheme and a bike mechanic came in to fix some of the children's bikes. On the day each year group was given a time slot to bring their children down to be fixed. The mechanic was able to fix 20 bikes and the bikes that he wasn't able to fix, he attached a label with recommendations on how to fix.  Prior to the event posters were displayed around the school and on the school Facebook page. The JTA's helped to promote the event (see seperate story)
The event was very successful particularly for Year 5 pupils who will commence their cycle training again next week.
