The school will take part in the 'Big Pedal' starting on Monday 25th March till Friday 5th April.  Over 500 cycle rides were made by Students and parents to and from school each day. The school finished 13th in the country for their sustainable numbers (cycfling & walking). Advertisement of the event was sent to parents & placed in form rooms as weel as major transport routes in schoool buildings, students encourage to take part in assemblies by members of the YTA. Incentives were organsied, free breakfast for cycling to school everyday in the week, A raffle ticket was gicvne to students who cycled to school with the prize of a £20 lakeside voucher for the lucky winner.  YTA also organised a smoothie bike session duirng lunch again to encourage participation and healthy eating.
