Different cycle access route to school site

Grey Court School
London Borough of Richmond upon Thames

Our story

A new cycle access route has been opened up to avoid compunding traffic issues ont eh main ham STreet entrance.

Cyclists are encouraged to walk their bikes out of the school site onto the Avenue and to then disperse along this cycle and pedestrian only path to calmer streets furteyr away from school. this is to reduce traffic black spots and has been done in consultation with our local councilllors.

This has been promoted in class tutor time and a member of staff is on duty at this gate each day t ensure studetns walk their bikes out onto Ham Avnue before cycling off so they do not collide with residents walking their dogs along this pedestrian route.

The evidence is daily staff on duity and cylcists now using this route.

The satellite imagery on Google maps is not up to date to provide aerial footgae yet.
