We are going to the beach next week as part of a whole school trip. We will be crossing roads during the trip so we planned a lesson on road saftey and how to corss correclty. We watched a lovely video of a puppet monster explaining road saftey and where to walk on the pavement. The video also included being careful at the bottom of people's drive ways which was nice as a lot of hildren live in flats without a driveway to be aware of. 

We then set up a traffic role play in the play ground and practiced corssing the road carefully espesially when there was on comming traffic (our balance bikes) we have various stop signs and traffic lights which made great props.
