As a school council throughout the year, we have discussed environmental issues that affect our school. We have a unique position as a school in that our catchment area is not where our school building is. The majority of children travel to school by school bus. Although we do not have the power to change this, we have discussed small ways and changes that we can make involving our journeys to school, to make our school more envrionmentally friendly. We discussed the pros and cons of our current sitution and proposed some possible changes moving forward. Attached is some pupil voice from across our school council sessions, which children gathered from their classes in circle time discussions throughout the term.
