We travel to hampstead heath every half term. We promote long walks with reception class to ensure they have the resillience to walk further distances in different terrains. This is a great way to stay active and is the focus points of our trips in the beginning of the year. 

Reception used maps to navigate their way around the heath, we enjoyed looking at the features we walked past. We spoke about how walking is great for our health but also for the enviroment as it reduces pollution.
