Year 5 and 6 children were delighted to attend The Riot Act Road Safety Show this week. This programme included a presentation, workshop and learning pack to promote essential road safety information and equip children with the essential skills needed to stay safe when travelling on and around roads. The show also dicussed the negative impacts of excessive traffic and vehicle ‘idling’ outside of schools. Children were engaged and able to talk afterwards about the many ways they had learned to stay safe on the roads.
