The Road Safety Officers from the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames visited the school to train our Year 2 pupils in valuable pavement and road safety skills on their scooters. The pupils were asked to bring in their scooters on the day.  Each class was divided into groups so those who do not have a scooter can usually borrow one from a friend in another group or class so that everyone can take part and have fun, including those who do not normally scoot. Certificates are awarded to all children who complete the training with reminders of scooter safety tips for their parents.
