The School Council (our equivalent of a JTA) have been asked to look at ways to encourage more children to walk to school.  Ideas discussed are using a travel tree to track which class has the most children who walk to school, or house points for the house with most walkers.  The Council will also look to deliver an assembly to the whole school in time for Walk to School Week in May.
