The children in the eco group wanted to think of ways to reduce the numbers of parents dfriving to school. They spoke to their classes and came up with a range of ideas. They thought of a pledge as they themselves were familiar with pledges, such as during the period of Lent, so the overall feedback was of a pledge card for parents and carers.

The pledge card would be cut out and hung on the rear view mirror.
