On Monday 25th March, during a staff meeting, staff members at Concordia Academy were asked to try and incorporate active travel or public transport in the curriculum they deliver to their students. This lead to the assistant headteacher offering to base an assembly on the theme 'stop, look, listen' and Year 1 staff agreeing to hold a lesson on the different modes of public transport and have their class write a paragraph about a time they went on public transport and the type of transport they used.
