In an effort to reduce the number of parents parking on the estate and to reduce tensions with the surrounding residents we contacted Havering Council to ask for a parking enforcement officer to patrol the area outside of our school during drop off and pick up times. This was done in order to reduce the amount of parents using resident parking and to give parents an incentive to use alternative methods of transport when taking their children to and from school.
