On Wednesday 3rd April, Concordia Academy's school council consisting of students from Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 met up to discuss ways we can encourage parents and children to walk, cycle or scoot to school. They all had some great and imaginative ideas, including giving a house point to every child that actively travels to school for a week, putting a prize on a bike or a scooter parked in the cycling racks to encourage children, and a bike/scooter decorating competition for Halloween or Christmas.

The school council hopes to implement some of their ideas in the next academic year and really encourage their peers to actively travel to school.
