We received an email from a resident of the estate surrounding the school complaining that his car is blocked in during drop off and pick up times by parents. He asked how the school were handling this issue, which lead to a member of staff calling the resident to dicuss.

On this phone call the resident explained that there were a group of people within his block that felt the same way he did and they wanted to resolve the issue with help from the school. As a result, the school informed that they would be contacting Havering to increase the parking patrol around the school and would also be sending out a strong letter to parents reminding them to be mindful of residents when parking and also offering alternative parking solutions. In turn, the resident agreed to note down the registration of any cars that park in restricted areas and report them to the LA in order to tackle the issue, and also tell other residents to do this.
