6 Year 5 students of Concordia Academy helped Miss Mann put together a TFL Start School Travel Board in the main reception so that all of our guests could see what we've been up to and how we safely travel to school. The children wanted the notice board to look grown up enough for the older children/adults to enjoy but easy enough to understand so that our Reception students can also take some knowledge of road safety away.

The notice board is seperated into 3 sections: road safety tips, our travel stories and ways we travel to school. The year 5 students used the results of our most recent surveys to work out what modes of transport to put in the 'ways we travel to school' section, one student included a plane because he said that "just because WE dont get planes to school, it doesnt mean other people in the world dont".
