Half Term Manor Adventure
Drapers' Brookside Infant School
London Borough of Havering
Our story
Children from reception classes to Year 6 took part in a Manor Adventure during the half term holiday.
We walked up the steep hill in Dagnam Park Drive, paying attention to the parked cars along the road. We also practised our looking and listening skills when crossing the roads. While we were walking, a child noticed that there wasn't as many cars travelling on the road as there usually was!
Children learnt how to build a den, leave messages for others using picture clues from nature resources found in the Manor and look for mini beasts.
Children had great fun even though it was thunder and lightning!
