To maintain a high focus on the importance of road safety as part of our PSHE curriculum, it has been in our whole school medium term plan. Each year group covers an element of road safety with clear progression from Year 1-6.  Year 1 covers traffic lights and road signs, Year 2 crossing safely, Year 3 cycling safety, Year 4, safe walking routes, Year 5 use of devices when walking and Year 6 travel to secondary school. Each year group plans and delivers a focussed PSHE lesson on road safety.
