Year 1 and 2 watched and participated in a Road Safety performance this afternoon. The focus of the performane centered around safe crossing and different types of crossings. This correlates closely to our PSHE curriculum coverage. The children engaged very well, responded throughout and thoroughly enjoyed the performance. When the classes returned to their classrooms the children each had to recall a key fact that they discovered in order to recieve a Road Safety sticker. All children demonstrated that they had learnt something about safe crossing. They have been encouraged to share their learning at home with families.
