Following a Mental Wellbeing team meeting, we decided as a school to sign up to the Big Pedal. The subject co-ordinator signed up and informed all staff of the competition. Following this, the JTAs met and worked to launch the compeition through class accemblies.

When monitoring data, we were able to see that the promotion of the Big Pedal improved increased the amount of pupils traveling to school using active modes. Whilst cycling continues to be an infrequent mode of transport, scooting and walking continues to be very high.

The pupils were very excited about competing against other schools in the country.
