A second meeting with the JTAs to discuss Road Safety Week and how we can promote it in school. We wanted a focus on KS1 children as KS2 have had an assembly/bikeability this week. The meeting focused around what the JTAs can do and we decided a workshop in each KS1 classroom would be best (they told me they wanted to practice their public speaking before doing an assembly in the future). We discussed ideas for the workshop and what they wanted to include/what was the main teaching points for KS1 to understand. Workshop schedule has been designed, KS1 teachers informed and children will be going to KS1 classes next week!
