At Clarendon Primary (Hampton) the pupils have an active start to the day each morning with 30 minutes in the playground followed by a healthy breakfast.  An assembly was held to promote the heath benefits of being active and to travel to school in an active way.  The children were shown two short videos to hightlight what active travel is, the benefits of active travel, how it has a postive impact on the environment and how it makes you feel ready for the school day.  The pupils were engaged with the assembly and said they wanted to be healthy and active.
