We wanted to encourage more students to cycle to school to get them more active and start the day energised and ready for learning.

We decided to run a Bikers' Breakfast event n 23rd April and reward participants with a free, healthy breakfast.

We promoted the event to our students and staff in assemblies during the week beginning 19th April.

On the day itself 44 students came into school early and were given tokens for a free breakfast if they had cycled in (the tokens were numbered so we could see how many students).

We will definitely run this event again as relatively easy to organise, was an appreciated incentive and just needed goodwill of catering team to come in early and some funding to pay for the breakfasts.
