We wanted to get involved with promoting World Environment Day as it aligns well with our ethos and is a very real concern for our students.

We used an assembly to the whole school the day before World Environment Day to show the David Attenborough video about extinction and explained the importance of ecosystems on our planet.

We challenged students to see the impact of our choices and what we can all do as individuals to help the environment e.g. Meat free Monday, walk and cycle to school, campaign and reduce, reuse and recycle.

Students were asked to spread the message and promote this to their friends and families.
