For us, as a school, to effectively carry out our TFL STARS programme, it was important for us to first find out about the travel habits of the students.

 Therefore, our task was to carry out a survey, which allowed us to identify the student’s thoughts and feelings regarding transport.

To do this, we used the Microsoft forms survey provided by TFL and sent this out to all students in the school. Students were told about the importance of completing this survey in form time by their tutors.

From the results of this survey, we were able to identify common themes such as a large majority of students enjoy walking, cycling or scooting in their local area and choose to walk over taking the bus or car for short journeys. A strong majority of our students also agreed that young people are able to make an impact to reduce pollution in London
